In 1975, Chuck met Rock (Ross Stevenson) Hunter while playing in a band with his older brother, Brian Hunter. Rock was 14 years old and Chuck was the ripe old age of 24. This meeting has grown into a lifelong friendship and musical bond.  Rock, Brian and Chuck formed the band “Rock Bottom and the Primordial Men” in 1977 with drummer Joe Yon. Both “Hunter Brothers” are excellent songwriters and all parties involved have been very fortunate to play their melodic yet powerful music for over 40 years. Rock and Chuck continued to play together and in the fall of 1984, they joined forces with bass player Peter Ballantyne. Hailing from Long Island, Peter is a fine musician who played extensively in various bands in the New York City area. Drummer Chip Holz joined the band in 1989 after playing and recording with bands in San Diego and in New Mexico. The current line up was complete.
